The College of Nursing, Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, established in 2021 under the Government of Uttar Pradesh, is a leading centre of excellence in nursing education and clinical training. Affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the U.P. State Medical Faculty (UPSMF), the college imparts evidence-based, ethical and compassionate education that blends theory, practice and innovation.
In recognition of its academic quality and leadership, the College was awarded the status of a Mentor Institute under Mission Niramaya (Phase II) on 12 July 2023 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. As a Mentor Institute, GIMS guides assigned colleges in quality assurance, capacity enhancement and performance evaluation aligned to INC and UPSMF standards.

All students are expected to maintain decorum, discipline, and professional ethics within the college and hospital premises. Respect for faculty, patients, and peers is mandatory at all times. Attendance in classes, labs, and clinical postings must meet the prescribed university standards.

- Mobile phones are restricted in academic areas.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited under UGC & INC guidelines.
Anti-Ragging Policy
The College has a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad comprising faculty and student representatives to ensure a ragging-free campus. Any act of indiscipline or ragging will invite strict disciplinary action as per INC & Supreme Court norms.
Students and parents must submit an anti-ragging affidavit during admission, affirming their commitment to maintain peace and harmony within the institution.
