  • CSTUP has sanctioned the financial support of Rs10.00 lkh on the project “Enhancing Patient-Cantered Care: Implementation and evaluation of a Mobile-Based Care and Information System with Chat box Interaction”

    • Conducting ECHO sessions for awareness of medical community about pre analytical variables that are associated with various common biochemical parameters, training and sensitization of lab technician regarding importance of maintaining quality in the Lab.

    • MBBS course- CBME curriculum is followed as per NMC guidelines. It include Didactic lectures, SGT, SDL, ECE, DOAP, AETCOM
    • Courses conducted – MBBS, BSc Nursing, Paramedical

    • Teaching of MBBS students including lectures, practical, small group teaching.
    • Running of central biochemistry lab and emergency lab 24/7 conforming to NABL standards, with highly trained technicians in hospital.
    • Department faculty member are actively participating in research projects related to clinical lab, basic sciences, and medical education.
    • Department faculty member are part of GIMS Scientific research committee and playing active role is taking ahead the research output of the institution.
    • Two ICMR STS projects got approval in 2022 and 2023 promoting research in MBBS undergraduate students.
    • Collaborating with other MRUs such as Maulana Azad medical college, Delhi for multicentric projects -2024.

    • Pipette calibration workshop conducted by biochemistry department on 27th July.
    • A CME cum Workshop was organized on Advanced Molecular Techniques in Medical Diagnostics on 22nd & 23rd April 2019. This event had been conceived with the idea of providing platform for amalgamation of modern technologies in diagnosis of different disorders. The CME cum Workshop offered a wonderful mix of high caliber plenary speakers, an engaging scientific program and interesting talks on “Advanced molecular techniques in medical diagnostics”.
    • NABL training program was conducted for 2 days on 11th and 12th December 2019.
    • Conducted guest lecture on “Cell Culture in Medical Research- current trends and future perspectives”, given by Prof B C Koner, HOD, Dept. of Biochemistry, MAMC, New Delhi.
