The Department of Dentistry at GIMS Greater Noida focuses on sustainable dental education, outstanding patient care and community outreach. The team provides a broad range of dental services, supports undergraduate teaching and strives to maintain high professional and ethical standards in all aspects of oral healthcare.

Facilities & Clinical Services

The Department of Dentistry at GIMS, Greater Noida is well equipped to deliver comprehensive dental and maxillofacial care supported by modern infrastructure and specialized clinical services.

The department houses four fully functional dental chairs and a well-equipped Minor Operation Theatre, enabling the delivery of all general dentistry procedures including root canal treatment, restorative procedures, tooth extractions, apicectomies, and crown and bridge work.

In addition to general dentistry, the department provides specialty services encompassing oral and maxillofacial surgery, periodontics, and orthodontics.

For advanced oral and maxillofacial surgical care, the department is supported by a dedicated six-bedded Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ward and a dedicated General Anaesthesia Operation Theatre, conducted every Wednesday and on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Specialized Maxillofacial Procedures

Management of maxillofacial trauma
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgeries including TMJ arthrodesis, management of temporomandibular disorders, and total TMJ reconstruction
Treatment of maxillofacial pathologies, jaw cysts, and tumors
Orthognathic surgeries and corrective procedures for residual facial deformities
Surgical management of oral precancerous lesions and conditions including oral submucous fibrosis
Dental implantology services
Through this integrated clinical setup, the department ensures high-quality patient care, structured clinical training, and comprehensive exposure to both routine and advanced dental and maxillofacial procedures.

  • Letter of permission from Medical Council of India vide letter No. MCI-34(41) (E-60)/2019 .Med/ 115574 dated 20th May 2019 for starting MBBS course for 100 students. First batch of 100 students have been admitted and classes has been commenced since 01 Aug 2019.
